Our hero!

Ronnie is the star of Life of Ronnie, of course. He’s a young cartoonist with dreams of making a living with his art someday. In the meantime, he makes ends meet working as a full-serve gas station schlub. Recently out on his own for the first time, Ronnie is set to begin this thing called adulthood.

Mum works part time at a local daycare, mostly to get her kid-fix. Dad is the pastor of a small local church, where he is not above trying just about anything to bring people in the door.

Honk

Ronnie’s best bud, they go way back.  But how and when they met is yet to be revealed — as is the answer to everyone’s number one question: “Just what king of name is ‘Honk’, anyways?”.

Honk has a longtime girlfriend, Denise, who thus far is quite camera shy.

Janet

Introduced to her by Denise at a Halloween party, Janet quickly became Ronnie’s not-so-subtle crush, but one he seems unable to act upon despite signs of interest from her too.  Has he blown his chance?
