What’s the deal with Domino’s new campaign, anyway? “So, we admit our pizza was terrible. But we’ve changed it now and it’s so much better. We even use real cheese!” just seems like a strange marketing strategy.

It’s been my understanding that the campaign has been pretty successful as a gimmick and boosted sales for the moment, but has anyone tried the new stuff? Is it actually a significant improvement? We always either make our own from scratch or get it from a little place down the street (that somehow managed to figure out how to make the pizza of my childhood), so I can’t really think of a reason we’d get Domino’s any time soon, but I’m curious.

Just not curious enough to order some myself.

I tried it, and I think it has too much garlic now in the crust. The sauce was good though.
