Action Toy Arena
June 23rd, 2008 by Chris
At work, my main project for the last month or so has been making stop-motion animations of action figures for Hasbro’s various “action toy arenas”. Transformers and Star Wars figures and vehicles, this time.
Of course, in order to properly animate figures to show off what they can do, it’s important that one be very familiar with the toy, so the first step with each one is essentially play-time. It’s been pretty sweet being paid to play with toys. I swear, sometimes my life feels like a scene out of Big!

There is so much awesomeness in this strip, I don’t know where to begin. =D That cat is absolutely adorable though, definitely a clincher for me. ^^;;

The idea of Vader robbing a bank is the funniest thing I’ve heard all day.

Oh and PS. My dog when I was a kid ate my Han Solo’s leg off… ask me how pissed I still am about that.

Han Solo’s leg? That’s nothing compaired to the 10’s of Barbies I have who are missing their hands… no rings for them!
