When I first moved out on my own to a new and strange city, I fairly quickly got pulled into friendship with a circle of great guys, and one of my favorite memories from those days is our frequent trips to this amazing all-you-can-eat sushi place. Unlike most all-you-can-eat sushi joints, the quality was excellent, their portions were generous (none of this “tiny slice of fish… huge freaking rice ball” nonsense), and their all-you-can-eat special wasn’t limited to a few items, but essentially included everything on the menu.
Man, I miss that place.

Man… I miss it too. Well not the place so much, but the fact that they stopped doing ‘all you can eat.’ Instead it was Monday/Tuesday 20% off nights… but they just dropped it to 15% which is lame but the sushi is still so darn good!
Apparently they just opened up another one downtown near Mark’s work. Lucky lunch bastid.
Come to think about it… they probably stopped doing ‘all you can eat’ there because of us. man we used to throw down a lot of sushi!
Haha, We did cause dents in the fish stock!!
Hmmmm, wasabi bombs… “little people”…
Good times, good times…
All-you-can-eat sushi almost always results in me stuffing myself. I have resolved to never go alone because I usually stop eating only when it would be socially awkward to continue.
But Jonathan, there is no socially awkward time to continue eating sushi!
What the heck are you guys (Dan and Chris) doing up so blinkin’ early in the morning?
I think at that hour, it’s still “late at night” rather than “early in the morning.”
. . . Not that I would know. I was asleep.
Yeah… It was late at night. Just got home from a shoot.
Man I hope you are going where I think you are going with this… Some of my best stories are from when we’ve gone out for sushi… as Mark eluded to.
Yes Chris, we still talk about the “little people”, in fact it makes me laugh right now as I type. LOL…. sigh.
Bonus points for the Clockwork Orange reference.
