Dissimulation-Jitsu

I love my job.
For the past few weeks at work, I’ve been working on a series of black and white printable activites for the Club Mickey website. All of them are also coloring pages, but they needed to have some sort of fun activity for preschoolers. I did some connect-the-dots, some color mosaics (color-by-number to reveal something hidden!), matching various objects to one of Mickey’s gang, figuring out the right sequence for a series of pictures, and lastly several activities where you need to find hidden objects in the picture. They were a lot of fun.
When I was brainstorming comic ideas with my wife the other day (she’s an excellent sounding board, and you should all just be thankful she lets me refine ideas with her first), she pointed out that it had been a while since I’d actually shown one of Ronnie’s Ninja Apprentice strips. And by golly, she was right! So, I must have still had preschool activity pages on the brain though, because the above is what I came up with.
Have I mentioned how much I love my job?
And my wife. I love her too. I mean more. I love her more.

I like the black ninja against the white wall. Also the one by the fountain. So–the least camouflaged and the most.
You have a really great strip. I usually laugh harder at the newsy bits under the strip, though. *huge puppy eyes* Please do that all the time.
