Yesterday was my mom’s birthday, and for the occasion she and dad drove down from Canada to hear me sing at church and to go for a nice birthday lunch. We went to a local place in Redmond called Todai that has a rather extensive (and high-quality) buffet of seafood and other delectable morsels. I can never turn down the chance to go for all-you-can-eat sushi! Yum.
Anyhow, happy birthday Mom!

You sing? Did you years ago too? I don’t remember, lol, memory going.
Well, I didn’t start singing a lot until we moved to BC, but I used to sing in the “Corral” at Westminster Park with you, didn’t I? Eventually I discovered I was a better singer than a trumpet/cornet player and I never looked back. I even ended up as a vocal music major at Trinity Western for a year before deciding animation school was a better choice.
Dood… all you can eat sushi? I’m jealous!
