I’m getting pretty excited about the new Transformers movie that’s coming out this summer. Have you seen the new trailers?
That ain’t my childhood Transformers, and whether the story is actually any good remains to be seen, of course, but it certainly looks freakin’ sweet! The presence of Bernie Mac is a little worrying… but I think that Spielberg’s participation makes up for that. We’ll see!

Dude, I totally get the transformer gag. But, I was hoping that you would go into the joys of having a murphy bed. Of course I’m bias as I had a murphy bed. And I have a personal quirk that everytime I sit on a couch futon I’m worried at I’m reclining against the “foot” end.
I’ve seen the trailers and I can’t help but get excited… except that it is directed by Michael Bay… Hence I know I’m going to be disappointed eventually.
Yeeeeah, the Michael Bay thing means my expectations for it to be quality cinema remain fairly low, but for all their faults I still enjoy his movies. Pearl Harbor was almost unwatchable, but I enjoyed The Island, The Rock and Armageddon a lot. They were fun rides. That’s all I want.
Transformers!!! Wooohooo!!! But I do agree that Michael Bay as director is alittle worrying. Already, the trailer doesn’t look like Transformers as I remember it to be.
